The New World Symphony's 30th Anniversary Gala at the New World Center February 10th, 2018 in Miami Beach. The NWS Gala honored Miami's most prolific cultural institution and looked back at three decades of world-class talent and innovation in classical music. Guests were treated to a live performance by Artistic Director Michael Tilson Thomas (MTT) and the NWS Fellows in celebration of the organization's milestone achievement. Proceeds from the event directly benefit the New World Symphony and its mission of preparing gifted young musicians for careers in professional orchestras, while providing meaningful cultural programs to the South Florida community.
