Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida at Sanctuary of the Arts

Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida, under the direction of Maestro Vladimir Issaev, is thrilled to bring the excitement of classical and neo-classical ballet to Coral Gables for a one-night-only performance at Sanctuary of the Arts on Saturday, February 8.

The evening's repertoire features Marius Petipa's world-renowned Paquita, set to the music of Ludwig Minkus. This classical masterpiece highlights the exquisite technique and breathtaking corps de ballet work of our dancers. Audiences will also be treated to the energetic Flames of Paris pas de deux, a showcase of bravura and virtuosity.

In addition, the program includes Vicente Nebrada's Una Danza Para Ti, a vibrant and high-energy tribute to Venezuela and its extraordinary artists. Set to the music of esteemed Venezuelan composers, including waltzes by Teresa Carreno, this powerful work features five couples and captures the very essence of Venezuelan artistry.

This performance marks our first endeavor to share Arts Ballet's unique repertoire with audiences in South Dade. Beyond a celebration of ballet, it serves as a testament to the resilience of the arts in the face of financial challenges. Despite obstacles, Arts Ballet Theatre remains committed to bringing the beauty of dance to our communities.
