The South Beach Jazz Festival Summer Series celebrates local favorites and award-winning students this summer throughout Miami Beach on Lincoln Road, Collins Park, and Normandy Fountain.

A selection of Jazz New Orleans style, French Gypsy, Latin, Golden Era Retro, along with the Great American Songbook, and more, plus theater and dance at free community events.

This weekend at the South Beach Jazz Festival Summer Series:

7:30 to 9:30 p.m., Friday, July 5, 2024

Euclid Oval, 700 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach

The Trad305 is an ensemble in the Damian J Project that brings the rich and lively history of traditional jazz to life. The group specializes in sub-genres such as Dixieland, Tin Pan Alley, Ragtime, American Songbook, Hot Jazz, and more. Their performances capture the essence of jazz from its early days up until the rise of swing in the 1930s, delivering an authentic and captivating musical experience.

On Saturday, July 6, the South Beach Jazz Festival Summer Series presents JECC with Nicole Yarling and guests from 5 to 7 p.m. at Collins Park, 2100 Collins Ave., Miami Beach.

JECC features scholarship winners David and Daniel Wolff and dancer Terrance Pride, along with the multi-talented Nicole Yarling, jazz singer and performer on electric violin and fiddle.

Bring a beach blanket or chair.

Events are free but RSVP requested.
