This year, Broward Education Foundation’s always-entertaining themed event will pay homage to Jimmy Buffett while raising funds to support Broward County Public Schools students and teachers.

Attention Parrotheads Broward Education Foundation is throwing the ultimate party, BrightStar Credit Union’s Fins Up! A Tribute to Jimmy Buffett. Grab your Hawaiian shirts and come dressed in your best island attire and enjoy a festive cocktail reception, delicious dinner and tropical drinks from the tiki bar. Dance the night away to live music from a popular tribute band performing Buffett’s iconic hits like “Margaritaville” and “Cheeseburger in Paradise.”

The Museum of Discovery and Science is proud to be a member of the Bank of America Museums on Us®.

Present your active Bank of America, Merrill or Bank of America Private Bank (U.S. Trust) credit or debit card with photo ID at the Museum box office to gain one free general admission. South Florida's award-winning attraction featuring 150,000 square feet of dynamic science exhibits, an outdoor science park, a live animal collection, a rotating schedule of science shows, learning labs, cafe, store and a grand atrium featuring the Great Gravity Clock, a 52-foot-tall kinetic energy sculpture; the largest clock in Florida. The showpiece of the museum since 1993, this unique timepiece is one of only three in the world. Children can also visit MODS' newest traveling exhibit "Thomas & Friends^TM: Explore the Rails!" Rail. The exhibit was created by the Minnesota Children's Museum in partnership with Mattel, Inc. and is nationally presented by Fisher-Price. Sponsored by Bank of America.
