Fins Up! A Tribute to Jimmy Buffett

This year, Broward Education Foundation’s always-entertaining themed event will pay homage to Jimmy Buffett while raising funds to support Broward County Public Schools students and teachers.

Attention Parrotheads Broward Education Foundation is throwing the ultimate party, BrightStar Credit Union’s Fins Up! A Tribute to Jimmy Buffett. Grab your Hawaiian shirts and come dressed in your best island attire and enjoy a festive cocktail reception, delicious dinner and tropical drinks from the tiki bar. Dance the night away to live music from a popular tribute band performing Buffett’s iconic hits like “Margaritaville” and “Cheeseburger in Paradise.”

South Florida's award-winning attraction featuring 150,000 square feet of dynamic science exhibits, an outdoor science park, a live animal collection, a rotating schedule of science shows, learning labs, cafe, store and a grand atrium featuring the Great Gravity Clock, a 52-foot-tall kinetic energy sculpture; the largest clock in Florida. The showpiece of the museum since 1993, this unique timepiece is one of only three in the world. Children can also visit MODS' newest traveling exhibit "Thomas & FriendsTM: Explore the Rails!" Rail. The exhibit was created by the Minnesota Children's Museum in partnership with Mattel, Inc. and is nationally presented by Fisher-Price. Sponsored by Bank of America.
